Do What You Love

Four years ago I dreamed that I could work from paradise and be able to mix business and pleasure. My ideal day would have me writing and coach in the morning and playing on the beach in the afternoon. I wanted to be able to travel and still have a good work life balance. I once hired a business coach and when I told him my dream, he was sure it would never work.

Here is a photo of where I was working yesterday. I was at the Container Restaurant at the new harbor in San Jose Del Cabo in Baja Mexico. I have created my dream and I am doing what I love.

I have done a lot of personal growth over the years and healed the wounds that held me back from being happy. Now I wake up in joy and am following my passion. I love being a life coach and helping others find their joy and success. With today’s technology, I can coach anyone from anywhere there is internet. I have had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world!

As a professional coach, I believe in dreaming big and going after your dreams. If you do what you love, it is easy. There is little resistance. My passion is helping others follow their dreams. Yesterday as I sat in the sun, looking at the beautiful view, sipping my favorite drink, a Paloma, and worked on my book. It was absolutely a perfect day spent doing what I love! I am in Mexico

The supplies are packed and waiting by the front door. The music has been chosen and the jambox has been charged. I was wondering if I would get butterflies like I use to, but they have not arrived yet. I am two hours away from hosting my first vision board class here in Mexico. I am at lands end, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

I usually have an assistant who does all of the set up, greeting and collection of payment, but today I am on my own.

When I became a professional life coach I knew that I wanted my work to be portable so that I could travel more. I also wanted to be able to offer workshops in other locations. Today is the manifestation of that dream! I have a small class, nine, but it is the first one I have offered here.

I am excited to know as I sit on this beautiful porch surrounded by green plants and listening to the ocean waves crash, that I created my dream. My passion is teaching others how to do this. I don’t believe in letting excuses or fear stop me from living the way I desire. I believe that we should all do what you love and there should be a good work life balance.

So I spent the morning relaxing, the afternoon hosting a workshop and perhaps I will spend the evening on the beach.
